4 years agoCharlotte Hornets small/power forward Gordon Hayward (hand) has been listed as questionable to play in Wednesday's contest against Phoenix due to a right hand contusion. The ailment knocked Hayward from Monday's game, from which he did not return. Should Hayward be held out, Miles Bridges and Malik Monk would stand to see increased roles. Through 28 games, Hayward has tied his career high of 21.9 PPG, knocking down threes at his highest rate (42.4 percent) since his rookie year. Check back prior to tip-off to get the final word on Hayward's status, as he'll swing Charlotte's DFS pendulum one way or the other.--Jesse Borek
