5 years agoBoston Celtics small/power forward Gordon Hayward played a team-high 37 minutes during Friday’s win over the Orlando Magic and utilized his time on the floor to set a new season high with 14 rebounds. He delivered his fifth double-double of the year by shooting 8-for-18 from the field overall en route to a 22-point performance. Without Jayson Tatum and Enes Kanter in the mix on the glass Friday, Hayward logged his highest single game rebounding total since Jan. 30, 2015. Should the team remain similarly short-handed Sunday against New Orleans, Hayward could once again be in line for increased usage.--Jesse Borek
