3 years agoCharlotte Hornets small forward Gordon Hayward has been placed in the league's health and safety protocols, ruling him out indefinitely, beginning with Wednesday's game vs. Indiana. Hayward had previously missed Charlotte's past two outings due to a foot ailment, with his extended absence paving the way for Cody Martin to remain among the starting five and thereby see an elevated DFS presence. With the Hornets looking to fill the void of Hayward's 17 PPG punch, Miles Bridges and Kelly Oubre Jr. can be seen as having short-term upside in the scoring department.--Jesse Borek
