6 years agoBoston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward filled the stat sheet during Wednesday’s win over the Chicago Bulls, finishing with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals, with the Celtics finishing plus-24 while he was on the floor. The scoring drought continues to be a concern for Hayward, but if owners can take any solace, it’s in the fact that he fired up 12 shots in the win. He entered the night shooting a career-worst 39.6 percent from the field this season, with that number only dipping after play Wednesday. Whether it’s due to the congestion on the wing or his slow start in return from injury, continue to tread carefully with Hayward for the time being.--Jesse Borek
