6 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard/small forward Gordon Hayward is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday’s contest against the New Orleans Pelicans. Hayward was held out of Saturday’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks due to an ankle injury, his second absence of the season. Settling into his new role coming off the bench for Boston, Hayward has averaged 11.3 points per game as a reserve, as opposed to 10.1 as a starter. He should benefit from playing the Pelicans, who are allowing the second-most points per game in the league at 117.3 per night.--Jesse Borek
