4 years agoCharlotte Hornets small forward Gordon Hayward (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Raptors as he battles a strained left hip. Hayward tied his season low with 27 minutes played during Wednesday's tilt, shooting just 5-for-15 overall. Caleb Martin has vaulted into the starting five for the second time in his career in place of Hayward and can be viewed as an upside DFS choice. Miles Bridges figures to remain an integral part of the second unit and could stand to see a minutes increase as well. Hayward's next chance to get back in action comes Saturday versus Toronto.--Jesse Borek
