Grayson Allen Enters Starting Five, Bobby Portis Shifts To Bench
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks shooting guard/small forward Grayson Allen has been elevated to the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's Game 3 matchup vs. Boston. The start will mark the first in Allen's playoff career, after having been a part of the starting five for 61 of his 66 appearances during the regular season. Portis has combined for 28 points and 19 rebounds across the first two games of the series, but he will figure to have an elevated offensive role among the second unit. Allen attempted just four shots (and one triple) in 28 minutes during Game 2, although he will likely be asked to be much more aggressive in order to stretch the Celtics' defense over the remainder of the series.
