5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point/shooting guard Grayson Allen has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to left ankle soreness. The fact that he has been ruled out well in advance of tip-off likely indicates that this ailment could potentially cost the second-year guard more games. Allen has scuffled from the field through his first five contests with Memphis — 31.4 percent shooting overall — but he has attempted to establish himself as a key bench cog. His next chance to take the floor comes Friday versus Orlando.--Jesse Borek
