3 years agoVeteran center Greg Monroe has joined the Minnesota Timberwolves on a 10-day contract and will be available to suit up as soon as Monday against the Celtics. Monroe is returning to the NBA for the first time since 2019, a season in which he appeared in two games with Boston. While fantasy managers do not need to storm the waiver wire to snag Monroe, he should get a decent chunk of playing time while Karl-Anthony Towns (health and safety protocols) remains out of the mix.--Jesse Borek
