3 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Hamidou Diallo (finger) has been ruled out for Tuesday's contest vs. the Heat as he continues to battle a sprained finger on his left hand. Diallo has now missed four of Detroit's last five games, funneling Isaiah Livers into a larger role among the second unit. With Killian Hayes (abductor) expected to be available, the second-year guard should be in line for an expanded role for as long as Diallo is out of the mix. Having exceeded the 20-minute threshold just twice since Feb. 16, Diallo's season-long stock is on the descent over the final month. His next chance to suit up comes Thursday against Orlando.--Jesse Borek
