4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder shooting guard/small forward Hamidou Diallo will be out of the mix for the next 4-6 weeks due to a hyperextended right elbow. Diallo was originally slated to miss just the next few games, but the Thunder will be playing it careful with the 21-year-old, who is now facing a lengthy absence. He had begun to carve out a significant role off the bench in his second season, averaging 8.8 points and 3.8 rebounds across 21.3 minutes per contest. Without him in the mix, look for Abdel Nader and Darius Bazley to see some additional minutes, although who emerges in the long-term is less clear.--Jesse Borek
