3 years agoHarold Varner III has been having some interesting issues off the tee lately on the PGA Tour. On the Asian Tour, Varner III did edge out Bubba Watson a couple of weeks ago to win in Saudi Arabia. It was by far one of his best four round performances on tour. The American golfer held off Watson by not making mistakes en route to a final round 69. That tee shot issue did not rear its head nearly as often overseas. Hopefully, this week it does not at Riviera. If it doesn't, Varner III could be one of those sleeper picks that finishes near a top-20 perhaps. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
