5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside had a night to remember on Thursday, recording 17 points and 19 rebounds against the Los Angeles Clippers. It was Whiteside's third double-double in three games and his fourth of the season. After being jettisoned away by Miami in the offseason, Whiteside seems to be settling in well with his new team, and he is posting above his career averages in points, rebounds, field-goal percentage and free-throw percentage. With Jusuf Nurkic out until at least the All-Star break, Whiteside should continue to produce for the Trail Blazers and fantasy teams. Start him with confidence against the Nets and Hawks this weekend.--Euan Leith
