5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside played 35 minutes and provided a monster double-double in the overtime win over the Hawks on Sunday. Whiteside scored 21 points while gathering 12 rebounds to go along with three blocks while also connecting on a solid seven of nine at the line. These are the lines owners had hoped for when drafting the big man, but consistency and missed games have been an issue so far in this campaign. He should be ready to go on Tuesday when his club squares off against the Kings.--Gianni Costantiello
