5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside provided another monster line, and this time it was against the Pistons in the 107-104 win on Sunday. Whiteside connected on 8-for-14 shooting en route to 16 points, and he also added 17 rebounds, three assists and four blocks in 38 minutes of action. The shot-blocking monster has now swatted 10 shots over his last two games and is averaging an incredible 3.1 blocks a night on the season. He has been a top-10 player this season and has easily been one of the steals of this year's drafts.--Gianni Costantiello
