5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside continued his comeback season with another monster game against the Phoenix Suns. In the 122-116 loss on Monday night, Whiteside produced 16 points, 22 rebounds, three assists and three blocks. He now has 13 double-doubles in his last 14 games. Many had written Whiteside off as someone that would never reach his full potential, but getting out of Miami has given him a second wind and he is rewarding fantasy managers that took a chance on him. He is the No. 1 center in ESPN leagues and is now averaging 15.4 points, 13.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game.--Euan Leith
