5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside was booed throughout his first game back in Miami, but it didn't affect him much during a big double-double performance. He finished a 122-111 loss with 21 points and a game-high 18 rebounds, shooting 9-for-12 from the field. Whiteside, who also had three blocks on Sunday, ended his five-year stay in Miami on a sour note, but he's managed to resurrect his career in Portland, producing 15.9 points, 13.9 rebounds and 2.8 blocks a night this season. He has a tough matchup next against the Raptors, who have been one of the best defensive teams against opposing bigs this season.
