6 years agoMiami Heat center Hassan Whiteside pulled down an impressive 15 rebounds during the preseason loss to the Hornets on Tuesday. The six-year veteran was also effective from the field, going 5-for-7 in addition to shooting an efficient 4-for-7 from the charity stripe for a total of 14 points on the night. Whiteside has looked impressive thus far, acquiring his second double-double of the preseason and has also been experimenting with his shot from beyond the arc as evident by the three he drained against the Spurs. If he can stay healthy and in the good graces of coach Spoelstra, he will be an abundant source of points, blocks, and especially rebounds this season. However, with constant rumblings of him being moved, his minute's allotment may change in the near future, especially if he ends up in Minnesota in a rumored deal involving guard/forward Jimmy Butler.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
