5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside continued to amaze and won the battle against Utah's Rudy Gobert on Saturday in the win over the Jazz. Whiteside scored 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting and added 21 rebounds with three blocks and a steal across 35 minutes. Whiteside dominated once again in this one and the fact that Jusuf Nurkic (leg) suffered a mild setback, should clear up any worries about Whiteside's production to take a hit when Nurkic returns. Whiteside has arguably been the steal of many drafts and for all the right reasons.--Gianni Costantiello
