Healthy Miguel Cabrera Poised For Bounceback
7 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera looks like his old self this spring, and that's great news for fantasy owners that took a chance on the veteran slugger. After an abysmal 2017 campaign that amounted to the worst of his big league career, Miggy looks healthy and primed for a bounce-back year in 2018. Through spring training, he has 21 hits and three homers, good enough for a .368 average and .993 OPS. Most notable is Miggy's signature opposite-field power, as he's driving the ball with authority to right field consistently. Cabrera will turn 35 in April, but if he stays healthy, he's an early candidate for comeback player of the year.
