7 years agoApart from an opening-round 68 that had him two shots off the lead, Henrik Stenson was solid but unspectacular at the Players Championship on his way to a T23 finish. While he shot a four-under total over the last three rounds, he failed to break 70 in any one round. Still, it was a solid finish for the Swede, who has five straight top-25s since missing the cut at the Valspar Championship. Stenson will next play at the Memorial Tournament at the end of May, the first of three straight starts that will end with the U.S. Open.--cmangano
