3 years agoHideki Matsuyama comes into 2022 off an impressive win at the ZOZO Championship in his home country of Japan. However, besides that result, Matsuyama didn't play well in the fall. Hideki only recorded one other top-10 finish and had two other finishes outside the top-55. Matsuyama has also had his fair share of struggles at the Tournament of Champions. Last season, Matsuyama finished last in the event, T41, after recording just one round under 72. In 2018, Matsuyama finished inside the top-five, but still had troubles making birdies.
