2 years agoHideki Matsuyama has put up back-to-back surprisingly bad finishes at the Scottish Open and The Open Championship. At the Scottish Open, Matsuyama was horrible in every statistical category. In the event, he hit less than 31% of fairways and less than 45% of greens. Matsuyama was better at The Open, but not by much. Matsuyama has only made 22 birdies in his last 108 holes, which isn't nearly enough to be in contention. Looking at this week, Matsuyama has a top-10 finish in his only career start at the 3M Open, but that came back in 2019. With his recent struggles, and his incredibly high DFS price, Matsuyama is a very risky option this week in Minnesota.--Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
