3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Hunter Renfroe isn't starting on Friday against the Texas Rangers and right-hander Dane Dunning. Renfroe is batting .256 with a .314 on-base percentage and 22 home runs in 433 plate appearances this season. It'll be J.D. Martinez, Jarren Duran, and Alex Verdugo starting from left to right in the outfield. Considering Martinez and Verdugo start most days for the Red Sox, this is essentially Duran replacing Renfroe in the lineup. The 24-year-old is hitting eighth. You're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help on Friday. Duran is batting .222 with a .238 on-base percentage, two home runs, and a stolen base in 84 plate appearances.
