4 years agoIan Poulter just has too many issues working against him at Kiawah Island this week. Though the winds will not be as fierce as they can normally be, they will wreak just enough havoc to throw off Poulter's game. Consider that the Englishman drives the ball a hair over 282 yards. That's it. Though his drives are pretty accurate (38th on tour), he is just 207th in greens in regulation (60%). While his putting is more than respectable, the issue is getting there for Poulter (-0.45 strokes gained tee to green). He is just too risky for this course.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
