4 years agoBrooklyn Nets small forward Iman Shumpert has been given the green light to take the floor for the first time this year after having re-signed with the organization in January. The timing of his potential debut is fortuitous, as Brooklyn is down bench ace Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (hip) for the first time all season Tuesday, which could pave the way for Shumpert to see a handful of minutes with the second unit. Known primarily for his defensive acumen, Shumpert may have name value, but he's not likely a season-long fantasy asset at this stage in any leagues.--Jesse Borek
