Isaac Okoro Draws Start In NBA Debut Wednesday
4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers small forward Isaac Okoro has been officially announced as a starter for Wednesday's contest against Charlotte. Okoro appeared to have the inside track at the gig with Kevin Porter Jr. (personal) ruled out, but the No. 5 overall choice in the 2020 NBA Draft has now been confirmed to be playing a major role right out of the gate. During his lone season at Auburn, Okoro shot 51.4 percent from the field en route to a 12.9 PPG average. With the team short-handed in its season debut Wednesday, Okoro will have increased DFS appeal. His defensive contributions could ultimately earn him season-long intrigue as the season moves along, so fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on the multi-talented wing.
