4 years agoDetroit Tigers third baseman Isaac Paredes will not start Monday’s contest against Chicago and right-hander Alec Mills, with Willi Castro manning the hot corner in his stead. Paredes has gotten off to a hot start to his big league career, having driven in six runs in his first six games. At just 21 years old, Paredes looks like a bat that could hold down third for Detroit for a long time coming, giving him some added intrigue in keepers formats. Even as he hits from the No. 9 spot, he has DFS appeal moving forward, with his next chance to return to the lineup coming Tuesday against the Cubs and righty Tyler Chatwood.--Jesse Borek
