3 years agoPoint guard Isaiah Thomas has signed with the Grand Rapids Gold for the NBA G League ahead of the G League Showcase, which is set to run from Sunday through next Wednesday. Thomas appeared in 12 games during the 2018-19 season with the Nuggets, averaging 8.1 points per game off the bench. The now 32-year-old saw just three games of action last year, appearing with the Pelicans in a limited capacity. Once one of the league's most dynamic scorers before injuries scuttled his All-Star career, Thomas will be looking to carve out a path to a return. While fantasy managers shouldn't flock to the waiver wire yet, where Thomas lands will be intriguing, as he could be a points scoring asset if healthy and in a favorable situation.--Jesse Borek
