Isaiah Thomas Scores 22 Points Against Mavs
7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Isaiah Thomas made his team debut on Saturday in the loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Thomas played 31 productive minutes off of the bench, finishing the night with 22 points. He shot the ball well, going 7-for-12 from the field and 4-for-8 from behind the arc. He also had six assists, but struggled controlling the ball, turning it over six times in the contest. Thomas seemed very optimistic about his role on his new team and should have the green light to be the team's leading man despite likely seeing minutes as a member of reserve unit for the remainder of the season. Nonetheless, his production was a welcome sight for fantasy owners who have weathered the storm with him all season. He should continue his effective play when the Lakers meet with the Pelicans on Valentine's Day in a game that will be fast-paced and high-scoring.
