6 years agoTexas Rangers catcher Isiah Kiner-Falefa will start behind the plate Friday. Robinson Chirinos will receive another day off, which has become a regular occurrence as of late. The question is whether the Rangers are trying to protect Chirinos, or if this is about getting Kiner-Falefa more time behind the plate for the future. Kiner-Falefa being in the lineup is bad for DFS, as the power drop off compared to Chirinos is significant. Kiner-Falefa has just a .113 ISO and a .381 slugging percentage so far this season. With Kiner-Falefa hitting seventh he is someone to avoid in DFS Friday.--Ben Rolfe
