7 years agoTexas Rangers infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa was added to the 25-man roster following Rougned Odor’s move to the disabled list. Kiner-Falefa has logged time at five different positions in 2017 and 2018, including catcher, second base and third base. His flexibility should provide plenty of opportunities for him to be part of the Rangers lineup. In 2017 in Double-A, he hit for a .288 average with 17 stolen bases and five home runs, his first ever professional HRs. His main value for fantasy teams should be his speed, but hopefully the batting average can translate as well. Initially he is going to be relevant in AL-only leagues only, but if he can find his way into regular playing time, he could quickly become a 15-team mixed league option.--Ben Rolfe
