6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Ito Smith is providing fantasy owners with something of a headache Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Smith has alternated weeks of fantasy relevance with fantasy irrelevance over the last few weeks. Smith managed just 11 yards rushing on four carries and 15 yards receiving on four receptions last week. Much of Smith's fantasy value has come through his ability to find the end zone, as he has four total touchdowns this season, all of which have come in the last six weeks. However, touchdowns may be hard to come by against a Cowboys defense who have allowed an average of just 0.6 touchdowns per game to running backs this season. With the uncertainty around Smith he is at best a flex play in deeper leagues and someone to avoid in shallower leagues.--Ben Rolfe
