Ivica Zubac Drops Team-High 22 Points, Logs Double-Double
3 years agoLA Clippers center Ivica Zubac finished with 22 points in 25 minutes during Tuesday's win over Houston, making him the team's leading scorer for just the second time this season. The big man also added 12 rebounds, giving him four double-doubles in his last five games. While Zubac's minutes have varied from as low as 18 to as high as 34 in that span, he has proven to be a perpetual double-double threat that also employs a strong shooting percentage (65.1%). His 9.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game are on pace to be a new career high, as his fantasy stock has reached its apex just ahead of the playoffs in season-long formats. With that said, his next outing comes Thursday vs. the Lakers, whom he has combined to play just 40 minutes against in two meetings this year due to matchup differences.
