2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays after a one-game absence. Martinez was dealing with soreness prior to Tuesday's game, according to Red Sox manager Alex Cora. Luckily, the ailment only cost him a single game. Martinez is currently sixth in the majors in batting with a .313 average. His power output has been lacking a bit as he's slugging .500 with nine home runs over 76 games, but his .570 xSLG suggests that he's been a bit unlucky.
