2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez was held out of Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays due to some soreness, according to Red Sox manager Alex Cora. It's unclear right now as to how serious the ailment is and if it will cost him additional time going forward. The 34-year-old was recently added to the AL All-Star team roster. He's had a fantastic season thus far, slashing .313/.380/.500 with nine home runs, 38 RBI and 50 runs over 76 games. Stay tuned for updates on his availability for Wednesday's game.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
