2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez (back) is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. He will be hitting cleanup and slotting in as designated hitter. This will be Martinez's first action since the All-Star game. He has been sidelined due to back spasms, though he was reportedly available off the bench for Monday's game. The 34-year-old had a great first half of the 2022 season, slashing .302/.368/.481 with nine home runs, 30 doubles, 38 RBI and 51 runs over 81 games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
