J.J. Redick Logs First Career Double-Double
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard J.J. Redick posted his first professional double-double during Tuesday’s win over the Charlotte Hornets, finishing with 27 points and 10 rebounds while adding in eight assists for good measure. With Joel Embiid on the bench, Philadelphia needed rebounds to come from somewhere else, although it’s not likely they expected to rely on Redick, who had one rebound in his past two games combined. The sharpshooter also knocked down seven threes in the victory, delivering one of his top fantasy efforts of the year. He faces the Celtics' stingy defense Wednesday, with Embiid back in the fold, which likely puts a halt to Redick’s double-double musings.
