J.J. Redick Will Likely Miss A Short Period Of Time
7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard J.J. Redick (leg) left Monday's win against the Toronto Raptors but will return sooner rather than later. Redick suffered a leg contusion late Monday and was unable to finish the game after playing 27 minutes. However, Redick and the Sixers appear to have avoided a major blow, as he will not miss an extended period of time. The exact amount of time Redick will miss is up in the air, but it sounds like he will be out for Thursday night's contest against the Boston Celtics. In Redick's absence, expect Jerryd Bayless to move into the starting lineup with T.J. McConnell seeing more ball-handling opportunity off the bench. Both Bayless and McConnell would be DFS considerations for Thursday, but temper expectations, as the Celtics are one of the top defenses in the league.
