6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers shooting guard J.R. Smith, who missed practice with an illness on Monday, was perfectly fine on Tuesday night against the Hornets, leading the team with a plus-26 rating and scoring 13 points with three triples in 39 minutes. He shot 3-for-7 from deep and 5-for-13 overall. Smith also recorded his fifth consecutive game with at least one steal and had his third block in the last four games. He's now scored 10-plus points in four of his last five outings, finding some consistency after a rough start to the year. If he doesn't get rested on the second night of a back-to-back situation, then Smith has a great matchup on Wednesday against a defensively poor Wizards team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
