5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard JA Morant turned the ball over five times on Friday night in a 117-105 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. It was the second night in a row that the rookie committed five turnovers, and he is averaging 3.9 giveaways per game in February, his most in a month since October. Still, Morant was able to add 17 points, on a 7-for-10 performance from the free-throw line, three assists, and one rebound in 31 minutes. The point guard has scored at least 15 points in 10 of his last 12 games and has set a solid scoring floor for himself. Morant will look to limit the turnovers and continue the scoring run against the Clippers on Monday night.--Euan Leith
