5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard JA Morant was firing on all cylinders during Saturday’s defeat to the Phoenix Suns, racking up 24 points on 9-for-16 shooting. In addition to recording his first multi-three-point effort of his career, the rookie added seven assists and three rebounds to pad his stat line. Owners will want to keep an eye on the fact that Morant recorded at least four turnovers for the fifth consecutive game and has played more than 29 minutes just once in those outings. He next faces Houston on Monday in what should be a fast-paced outing, although he’ll likely be tasked with guarding either Russell Westbrook or James Harden, arguably his most difficult challenge to date.--Jesse Borek
