5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard JA Morant moved the ball very well in Friday's win over Detroit, finishing with 12 assists. He capped off his seventh career double-double with 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting. Morant also had five turnovers, but his carelessness didn't affect the team much in a big 125-112 win. It's been a common theme this month, as Morant is averaging 3.9 turnovers per game after giving the ball up just 2.5 times per night in December. He has a decent matchup coming up next against the Suns, who have already struggled to stop Morant a few times.
