Ja Morant Injures Knee, Exits Game 3
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (knee) exited Saturday's postseason matchup against the Warriors. During garbage time late in the fourth quarter, the superstar tweaked his right knee and was taken back to the locker room for further evaluation. He'll likely undergo more testing ahead of Game 4, but it appears there's a real chance he could miss time moving forward. If that happens, it would be an unfortunate blow for the Grizzlies, especially since the 22-year-old was averaging 26.3 points, 10.1 assists, and 1.9 steals throughout the playoffs heading into Game 3. Nonetheless, there should be an update on Morant's status over the next few days. Still, if he can't suit up on Monday night, Tyus Jones would probably take his spot in the starting lineup. Unquestionably, Jones would also be a popular value option for DFS managers.
