Ja Morant Logs First Career Playoff Triple-Double
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant was able to record the fifth triple-double of his career in Thursday's win over Minnesota, despite scuffling from the floor overall. Morant finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, giving him his first postseason triple-double, although it came with the caveat of having shot 5-for-18 overall with seven turnovers. Morant has averaged 10.2 assists over his last five playoff outings, while also remaining an offensive focal point. The pace at which the series has been played has also been beneficial for his DFS appeal, as he has combined to take 34 free-throw attempts in the three contests. He will continue to possess a high ceiling ahead of Game 4 on Saturday.
