Ja Morant Logs Second Career Double-Double In Defeat
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard JA Morant delivered a 19-point, 10-assist outing during Monday’s loss to the Indiana Pacers, giving him the second double-double of his young career. The rookie has now reeled off six consecutive performances of at least six assists, a stretch in which he has averaged 21 points per game. He is not only firmly in the NBA Rookie of the Year conversation, but is making a case as a top tier point guard, even as Memphis continues to monitor his minutes. Having averaged more shots per contest than any other Memphis player, expect Morant’s fantasy relevancy to continue to rise as the season goes on.
