5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard JA Morant had his ups and downs in his NBA regular season debut on Wednesday in the 19-point loss to the Miami Heat. Morant shot a solid six of 12 from the floor en route to 14 points and added four boards with four dimes and a steal with a block. It was not all positive for the rookie, though, as he did commit six turnovers across 30 minutes of action. Not a bad start for the much-hyped rookie, and we can only assume he will keep getting his minutes, but owners just need to accept that there will be some bumps in the road along the way.--Gianni Costantiello
