5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard JA Morant scored 16 points on 7-for-12 shooting, but this was nowhere near enough in the thrashing at the hands of the Pelicans on Friday. Morant failed to do much else as he tallied just three assists with a single rebound and zero defensive numbers across 27 minutes in the 139-111 loss. To makes things worse, Morant was a minus-25 when he was on the floor after being an insane plus-42 just a couple nights ago against the Knicks. We will give the rookie stud a pass here and he will look to get back on track on Monday when his club plays the Pistons.--Gianni Costantiello
