Ja Morant Scores An Efficient 21 Points
5 years agoIn a 121-107 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, Memphis Grizzlies guard JA Morant scored a team-high 21 points in 31 minutes and added three assists and two rebounds while shooting an efficient 10-for-12 from the field. The rookie was 3-for-3 inside five feet, and it is a sign of improvement in that part of his game because he currently ranks sixth out of the seven guards that get at least seven shots per game within five feet. It's a great list to be on, but the No. 2 pick in the 2019 draft has set such a high standard already that picking holes in his game is becoming harder by the game. Morant and the streaking Grizzlies will look for the 14th win in their last 17 games on Friday night in Philadelphia.
