3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant got close to a triple-double in Saturday's loss to New Orleans, going for 22 points on 8-for-17 shooting with nine rebounds and 10 assists. He finished 3-for-5 from deep and also had one steal and just one turnover in 37 minutes on the court. Morant is having a huge year and averages 26.2 points with 6.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists. He's now narrowly missed a triple-double twice, which must be a bummer for him, but Monday's meeting with Houston provides him with a good spot to chase one again. The Rockets play an up-tempo game but struggle on defense and it should create a lot of offensive opportunities for Morant and the Grizzlies.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
